The National Museum of the Marine Corps opens Veterans Day weekend with the dedication ceremony on November 10, 2006 at 2pm for TICKET HOLDERS ONLY. More than 15,000 dignitaries, Marines, donors, veterans, and the President of the United States will be in attendance. On November 11 and 12, a special event and tour is planned for Marine veterans groups and Museum donors which will end with a candle light service in Semper Fidelis Park. On November 13, 2006, the Museum will open to the public. If you have tickets for the dedication ceremony on Friday, November 10 and staying in a Prince William County hotel, take advantage of our free shuttle service from your hotel to your designated parking lot for admittance into the ceremony.
